This luxury vacation rental is located in prestigious Movie Colony East and was designed with privacy and outdoor resort living in mind. From a walled private outdoor shower, to tranquil fountains and putting area, to an outdoor seating area by cozy fireplace, to a step-down pool-side wet bar and grilling area, this Palm Springs vacation rental's features will exceed your expectations, including the Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities.
All common rooms have been recently remodeled by renowned designers, Grace Home Furnishings
In addition to the features mentioned above, the yard has a misting system, a large free-form pool outlined with a winding rock wall with three sheer-descent waterfalls. The adjacent spa can seat 8, and nestled between them both is a gas fire-pit adorned with decorative glass. Swim up to one of four built in concrete bar-stools and have a drink at the sunken wet-bar complete with refrigerator and built-in BBQ. The elevated outdoor sun-deck has four comfortable chaise lounge chairs overlooking the pool. Here you can gaze at the sun, the palm trees, and the mountains while listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfalls trickling into the pool. The master suite is your own private getaway with views that will blow you away. It has a king size bed, 42" TV, HBO, ceiling fan, two nightstands, built in bookcase, walk in closet and large picture window with a view of everything. The en suite bathroom has duel sinks, a step down shower with window and a large oval bathtub with mountain and pool views.
Bedrooms two and three have a queen & King size bed respectively. Each also feature a walk-in closet, TV and French doors to an outdoor patio with wall mounted fountain. Both bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms, one with a shower, the other with a bathtub.
Bedroom four a custom made sofa that is available in three configurations (L-shape sofa, two twin beds, one King Bed). It opens to a private furnished patio. In addition, there is a 55" TV, HBO, Blueray player and ceiling fan. Located just outside the fourth bedroom is the powder room.
The formal living room has an exposed wood beam ceiling, a piano, a ceiling fan, gas fireplace, large windows and glass doors. Like much of the house, it also has pool and mountain views. Next to the living room is the formal dining room that seats six.
As would be expected in an estate such as this, this Palm Springs vacation rental features a spacious gourmet kitchen with microwave, convection and conventional oven, five-burner stove, dishwasher, ice maker as well as both drip and Keurig coffee makers. In addition it has two sinks, including one at the center island.
For your entertainment, the home also has a stylish and comfortable media room. This room, with large windows, wood beams along the ceiling and ceiling fan features a plush leather sofa, two side chairs, 85" wall-mounted TV with HBOMax, Prime Video, Netflix, Apple TV, iPod music system and French doors that open to the pool area.
Other features include remote controlled entry gate, six car private motor court, two-car garage, large capacity washer/dryer, HBO and a front entrance fountain to welcome you and your guests.

Kenny and Andrew were both extremely helpful and flexible with our arrival time shifting, due to traffic from Los Angeles. We have stayed multiple times, because we love the property so much, and the house is always set up and ready to go. It is clean, and any time I have a question while staying there, I get a prompt response from your team. For instance, I asked Andrew where to find the golf clubs and got a text back immediately.

I asked my son what he would like to do for his second pandemic birthday celebration this year, and he answered immediately, "Go stay in Palm Springs at Villa Estrella." My children love this house. My husband and I love this house. It is a relaxing, invigorating break from our day-to-day life. We have stayed multiple times at this property, and it never disappoints.

This house was perfect for our family. The outdoor space is exactly what you need! The pictures did not do it justice. The size of the pool was fantastic and the swim up bar/BBQ area was perfect. Also the shaded area with the misters was an added bonus for my mother, who does not like too much sun. It was a beautiful house in a great central location. It also had pretty much everything you could think of (ie. utensils/plates/knives/bowls/ice buckets...) they even had cute plastic toy garnishes to add to your cocktails!!! It was PERFECT.

If you are looking for the mid-century feel this is not it but if you want the feel of a 5 star resort within walking distance to downtown, this is it!

You want MORE info? Ok fine. It simply does not get much better than the Dry Heat Resorts offerings. As a repeat visitors I favor Via Estrella due to its location, floor plan, function, and privacy.... the pool really is unbeatable. Outdoor misters assist in managing the 100 degree heat. Seriously, everything is sooo overly thought through its ridiculous.

Villa Estrella was one of those properties you love to dream about. Every possible luxury vacation home amenity. The property is stunningly landscaped., not just great. The heated pool and spa are wonderful, with cascading waterfalls, misting, gas fireplace, and perfect lighting for nighttime. Inside meets and exceeds expectations, with a ton of extra touches that show a real pride of ownership and caring about the guest experience. From fully stocked media libraries, to games and books. We happened to be there when Grapefruits and Lemons were abundant in the Citrus grove. Delicious. Add to that excellent communication with Kenny, the property manager, and the thickest and best Vacation Home guide book weve ever seen. Clearly the owners love to share their beautiful home and everything they they know about enjoying Palm Springs. Dont hesitate.

Kenny and Dry Heat Resorts do a fabulous job in maintaining the property. Fully equipped home setup to be enjoyed by visitors unlike homes I've stayed at in the past. Previous experiences WITH OTHER COMPANIES were awful... you'd almost think the homeowner thought about renting their property on a whim. Kenny executed everything flawlessly.

I cannot say enough about the Marvelous Villa Estrella! Gorgeous setting, wonderful layout and beautiful landscaping! Lovely pool and jacuzzi with a great fire pit adjacent. And a fabulous, separate covered outdoor area with built in fireplace. Plenty of pool towels. The kitchen was amazing! Everything one might need in a spacious layout. We really appreciated the lovely and festive melamine dishes and plastic bar ware for poolside. Also, lovely dishes and glassware for inside. Great layout of the bedrooms, each with a bathroom or access to a bathroom. Access from each to the outside. TVs in each room. It was amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat.
