RESERVATION POLICY & DETAILS

Dry Heat Resorts wants to be your vacation rental choice year after year. We are committed to providing guests with a world- class vacation experience. With that in mind, we are pleased to provide you with these easy-to-follow reservation instructions.

Reservations: Pick a property from the Properties page and call for availability: Reservations can be made by calling us at 760-449-7760. Our regular business hours are M - F from 7 - 6 Pacific Standard Time. You can also request availability by sending us an email at info@dryheatresorts.com.

Deposits & Payments: After a reservation has been made, you will receive a Reservation Confirmation and Rental Agreement via email. Please confirm all reservation information immediately. After doing so, mail the completed Rental Agreement, along with your deposit, in U.S. dollars, back to our office. The deposit is equal to 50% of the rental rate. It is due within 10 days of making the reservation. Late payment may result in a cancellation. The balance, including housekeeping, security deposit and applicable city tax, is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require payment in full.

Reservations made 6 months or more in advance have the following payment schedule: An initial deposit equal to 25% of the rent is due within 10 days of making a reservation. A second payment equal to 25% of the rent is due 3 months prior to arrival. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Holiday Rates: A 10% rate premium is charged for holidays.

Housekeeping: Your reserved Palm Springs vacation rental will be cleaned, with fresh linens, prior to your arrival. All rentals are equipped with cleaning equipment and washer/dryer facilities. A post-occupancy housekeeping fee is charged for each rental. Interim maid service is available at an additional charge.

Security Deposit: A security deposit is required on all reservations in order to protect Dry Heat Resorts from property damage. The amount can be found by the property's price. Upon checkout, the property is inspected for damages. Any damages that are less than the security deposit shall be deducted from the security deposit. Any damages in excess of the security deposit are the guest's responsibility and must be paid within 15 days from checkout. The Security deposit, minus damage fees, shall be mailed back to you within 15 days. A $20 Fee is deducted from the security deposit for bounced checks.

City Occupancy tax: A city occupancy tax is applied to rentals of less than 28 nights. This tax is 9% in Palm Desert and 11.5% in Palm Springs.

Cancellation & Refunds: In the event that you must cancel your reservation, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. If written notification is received 60 days prior to the arrival date, all payments received, minus a $75 cancellation fee, will be refunded. If cancellation occurs within 60 days of arrival, any refund is subject to the ability to re-rent the property. If the property is not re-rented, no money will be refunded. If the property is re-rented, all payments, minus a $75 cancellation fee, will be refunded. If the property is re- rented for 50% of a guest's stay, 50% of all payments received, minus a $75 cancellation fee, will be refunded. No money is refunded in the event of an early departure.

Check-In: Check-in is after 3 PM at your Palm Springs vacation rental. A Dry Heat Resorts representative will greet you at the resort and show you around. Guests will receive two sets of keys plus any necessary gate cards or garage-door openers.

Check-Out: Check-out is before 11 AM. Guests are expected to do the following prior to departure.

  1. Place all trash into trash bags and remove from the vacation rental if a community trash bin is available.
  2. Throw away unused food and beverages.
  3. Place dirty dishes into dishwasher and start machine.
  4. Turn thermostat to 80 degrees.
  5. Lock windows and doors

Before departing, guests must leave all keys, gate cards and garage-door openers on the dining room table.
